This week the market finished relatively unchanged. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was 38 points higher than last week, ending the week at 25,058 points. The S&P 500 Index finished half a point higher, at 2,801.83 points.
Nearly eight hundred companies will announce quarterly earnings this week. Here are some of the names I will follow: Google, TD Ameritrade, and Haliburton on Monday, on Tuesday 3M, Eli Lilly, AT&T, Kimberly Clark, Verizon, and Texas Instruments, Coca-Cola, Ford, General Motors, Facebook, Las Vegas Sands, Hilton, Dr. Pepper, Equifax, QualComm, PayPal, UPS, and Visa on Wednesday, Amazon, Spirit Airlines, Intel Corporation, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Valero, Comcast, Starbucks, Valero, Conocco Phillips, and Mastercard on Thursday, and ExxonMobil, Chevron, Merck & Co, and Twitter on Friday.
In this episode we discuss the results from last week’s trades, the covered call on Advanced Micro Devices, the credit spread in EBAY, and the debit spread on ConoccoPhillips
We then discuss the three new trades on Macy’s, United States Steel, and Hertz Rental Car.
