The financial markets have been volatile for the last week, to say the least. Yet, the main equity markets finished relatively unchanged on the week. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 47 points, closing at 31,861 points. The S&P 500 Index lost 55 points, ending the week at 3,916 points.
