Welcome to The Weekly Option, a weekly program that offers practical trades and discussion for beginners and professionals alike.
It’s always great to hear from listeners. If you have any questions about the trades presented here or about your own positions, feel free to email me.
Email questions to me: eric@theweeklyoption.com
I’ve also created a short video series to teach you all the basics of option trading you’ll need to be able to follow along with me on this show. You can visit our website and click on the videos tab to watch them, or visit our YouTube Channel for The Weekly Option.com.
This was a bearish week in the markets. The Dow Jones Industrial Index fell 576 points, ending the week at 25,413 points. The S&P 500 Index fell 44 points, closing at 2,736 points.
This will be our first slow earnings week in a while. Of course, the US will be celebrating Thanksgiving on Thursday, so markets will be closed. We will hear earnings from Intuit and Urban Outfitters on Monday. On Tuesday Best Buy, Campbell Soup, Target, and Kohls will report quarterly earnings. And on Wednesday we will hear from Deere and Company.
In this week’s show, we will cover the trades from last week on Dropbox, Alcoa, and Twitter.
And we discuss three new trades on Treehouse Foods, Barrick Gold , and BP.
