The equity markets in the US were up this past week. The Dow Jones Industrial Index added 393 points, ending the week at 25,848 points. The S&P 500 Index grew 79 points to finish at 2,822 points.
There are 181 publicly traded companies in the US announcing earnings this week. Here are a few that I will watch for. On Monday Overstock.com will announce earnings. On Tuesday we’ll hear from FedEx and DSW. On Wednesday Micron Technology will announce. On Thursday Conagra, Darden Restaurants, and Nike will announce quarterly earnings. And on Friday Carnival Cruise, Tiffany & Co, and Revlon will all announce quarterly earnings.
In this week’s show, we will cover the trades from last week on Tenet Healthcare, Coca-Cola, and Morgan Stanley.
And we discuss three new trades on Canopy Growth Corporation, Pfizer, and American Airlines.
