ABOUT THE FOUNDER/ HOST

   Welcome to The Weekly Option, where we are dedicated to teaching practical, applicable methods for creating income by trading financial assets. Most people consider option trading to be too complicated. Once you mention that they are financial derivatives, people grow afraid of the risk too.

   The host and founder of The Weekly Option, Eric Lewis, is determined to show people that options trading can be complicated but it certainly doesn’t have to be. His approach to trading focuses on the three questions that matter; how much money can I make, how much can I lose, and how can I make sure I win more than I lose?

   Eric Lewis began his trading career in 2001 at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) in Chicago. After roughly 4.5 years working as a floor trader, he earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

   Following graduate school, he returned to his home state of Texas to work in the energy business. With nearly 11 years of experience in energy trading and asset valuation, he has a love for commodity businesses. Still, once an option trader, always an option trader. He still lives in Texas, where he creates a new podcast episode each week to discuss trade results and new ideas.
